We agree a programme of books, one to be read before each monthly meeting.  

The second half of each meeting is a discussion of that month's book

 In choosing the 'book of the month' we try to choose books that are both interesting and perhaps a bit controversial, so that there is plenty of lively conversation. 

We also do our best to choose books that are readily available through the library, and where possible arrange to borrow sets of our chosen book which can be taken out from Stourport library.

In the first half of each meeting, we discuss other books we have read, particularly ones we have enjoyed.

We are, of course, a very friendly and welcoming group, and we always take time in the middle of each meeting to have a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit.
