Willow Court Community Room, is between numbers 11 and 12 Willow Court, Off Wilton Ave, Franche, Kidderminster DY11 5AU.

We agree a programme of books, one to be read before each monthly meeting.

The second half of each meeting is then a discussion of that month's book.

In choosing the 'book of the month' we try to choose books that are both interesting and perhaps a bit controversial, so that there is plenty of lively conversation.

We also do our best to choose books that are readily available through the library, or not too expensive.

Several group members are adept at finding the books in charity shops; some download them on Kindle; some prefer to listen to them as audiobooks; and often we are able to borrow sets of our chosen books from the library.

Our monthly books are always fiction, and we have decided as a group to exclude 'the classics'.

But in the first half of each meeting, we discuss other books we have read, of whatever genre, so anything is included.

We are, of course, a very friendly and welcoming group, and we always take a few minutes in the middle of each meeting to have a cup of tea/coffee and (very nice) biscuits.

As an indication of the range of books we read, you can click here for a list that covers all our meetings since the group started in 2012.
